Terms and Conditions
As a mobile stylist I do ask for you to provide an appropriate place to work which is well lit and has somewhere close to hand for my tools and equipment, (kitchen worktop or a table is perfect)
A suitable chair, preferably low back and I may on occasions due to hair length have to ask you to straddle the chair or stand to ensure I can provide you with the best service possible.
I will provide all other necessary tools and equipment for the service required however, if you require a specific shampoo, conditioner or styling product you will need to provide these.
HAIR PREPARATION

Cut and Blowdry services– If I am not washing your hair for you, Please can you make sure your hair and scalp is freshly washed
Chemical Services– New clients are required to have a skin test a minimum of 48 hrs prior to the service, regular clients will be requested to answer screening questions prior to their appointment to decide if a skin test is required. If not required skin tests will be repeated annually. Please make sure your hair is clean and dry (the day before is perfect) dirty hair or product build up can stop the colour from developing properly.

CHILDREN AND PETS

I am very accommodating with children,
however I can not work well whilst stepping over children and animals. I also have some very sharp equipment as well as strong chemicals in my tool kit and whilst I am happy to use a clip or a brush to help distract young children, I would appreciate it if children and pets could be kept out of my tool and equipment case/bag and working area for their own safety.

CHILDREN SERVICES

Cutting children can be very difficult, and whilst I do my best to distract them and would encourage any help with this, sometimes it is not always possible to achieve the perfect cut on young children but I endeavour to provide the best possible outcome under the circumstances.

I do not provide a chemical service to anyone under the age of 16, All manufacturers state 'not for use on under 16's' and therefore I am not insured to do so.

PAYMENT
​
*Payment can be made with cash or card and I will accept BAC payment but it must be paid at the time of Service, not at a later time/date

COMPLAINTS POLICY
​
If you are ever unhappy with a service I have provided please contact me within 7 days of the service.
It is Gem Hair policy and also complies with my Insurance, to provide the necessary service to put right anything you are unhappy with.
I do not offer a refund policy and therefore if you choose to go elsewhere before contacting me then this will be at your own expense.
