Gem Hair is requested by law to protect you by following the current GDPR regulations in regards to storing, handling and using your personal data held on file. All data will be stored securely using password protection on technical devices.

Gem hair will not share your personal information with any third party without consent, or if required by law. Any personal information

held can be viewed by yourself only.

What personal details are held by Gem Hair?

There are 3 types of personal data I may hold about you: Client Data, Technical Data and Photographs.

Client Data- Client data could be held in Diary form, mobile phone, PC or on a record card, these consist of:

• Name

• Address

• Contact number (home phone and/or mobile)

• E-mail address

 

Technical Data- Technical Data is for clients who have chemical services/treatments. This information consists of the colour formula and any treatments relating to your service.

This information is held on a client record card stored securely at home and only removed for preparation of your service.

Photographs- Images are only taken with written consent and used for marketing purposes on my website, google account or social media accounts (Facebook and Instagram).

Why is this information held?

Client data is held to enable me to contact you regarding appointments or enquiries relating directly to your hair.

Addresses are reqiured as it is a mobile service i provide.

Photographs are used as a reference for future works aswell as to showcase my work to future clients.

Technical data is held as a reference for your hair journey.

Do you sell data?

Gem hair is not affiliated to any third party organisation and personal data will never be passed on or sold under any circumstances.

All clients will be asked to complete a GDPR form at their first appointment, consenting to the safe storing, handling and use of your personal data.

Gem Hair will always respect your privacy and it is your legal right to withdraw your consent at any time in writing to Gemma by email at gemhomehair@gmail.com

Any data held about a client, when the client has not received a service within 2 years will be destroyed.

**Due to Covid 19 Gem Hair is currently requested by law to store your contact information for 21 days and provide a contact if necesary to asisit with the NHS Track and Trace**
